Due to customer feedback regarding the need for a smaller buncher, Weiler developed a small, agile, machine delivering a lightweight, but powerful platform. With a total weight of approximately 60,000 lbs, it is well suited to run 20-22 inch felling heads in thinning or final fell applications.
Feller buncher forestry cab with heated and cooled seat provides a comfortable and smooth ride. The forward positioned cab with LED work lights offers optimal visibility day and night. Weiler’s control system features an intuitive operator interface with new ease-of-use features.
The purpose-built carbody and forestry duty track system provide strength and durability. New side steps are designed so debris does not collect. The fully guarded lower frame has integrated, einforced track guards, extreme-duty bottom rollers, and provides optimal access for service.
Optimized for maneuverability and strength, this light weight, low-impact machine is designed to handle rugged logging conditions and provide ease of transport. Durability is delivered through up-sized components including a large swing bearing, heavy-duty swing drive, purpose built final drives and Cat® undercarriage.
The B357 layout offers excellent service access for daily maintenance checks and major components. The gull-wing opening door provides a stable work platform for efficient and comfortable access to the rear of the machine. Large hinged service doors around the machine make all major components easily accessible.
The CP222 felling head is a 22 inch hot saw designed for fast accumulation cycles and optimal visibility to the saw disc and work area. The tower structure, with reinforced doubler plates in high stress areas results in longevity and durability. Service access is optimized through carefully designed access ports.
